How long a battery will last on a single charge is dependent upon many factors including:
Laptop Age: As a general rule, newer laptops are more energy efficient than older laptops.
Laptop Size: As a general rule, the bigger they are, the more energy they need to run.
Laptop Type/Specs: As a general rule, performance comes at the cost of battery life. There is no such thing as a fuel efficient race car and the same thing holds true for laptops. High-end CPU and GPU (graphics cards) may be great for performance and gaming, but not so great for battery life. If you want something to last all day, don't get a rocket ship.
Battery Age/Condition: Batteries ware out slowly over time. When we get laptops in, we do not know the age of the battery. We use utilities to estimate battery life but it is not an exact science and how long a battery will last depends, not just on battery condition, but also, to a large extent, what you are doing. For example, word processing, you may get 4hrs of run time on a certain laptop and watching a movie, you may get half of that.

Keeping all of the above in mind, we do our best to ensure the following:
Battery Condition: Laptop Refurbished - Excellent
Laptops within this category sell at a higher price and accordingly, will always get the best batteries that we have in stock. Laptops within this category will have batteries Good - Excellent, with battery working at 80% or higher of rated capacity.
Battery Condition: Laptop Refurbished - Good
Laptops within this category category will have batteries rated Good, with battery working at 70% or higher of rated capacity.
Battery Condition: Laptop Refurbished - Fair (Acceptable)
Laptops within this category category will have batteries rated Moderate to Good, with battery working at 50% or higher of rated capacity.
Please Note:
These are the battery minimum requirements for each of the stated laptop conditions. It sometimes happens that we only have one or two laptops of a particular make and model that are in fair to good condition and the battery is excellent.
Battery health indicates the amount of charge that is available to a system. In general, a battery’s health decreases over time at a rate, that depends on how often the battery is used and the conditions under which it is used.
